Day 1: Arrive in Delhi & Jaipur, Transfer

Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will be welcomed at Indira Gandhi International Airport and driven comfortably to Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital and the Pink City. It is around a 5 to 6-hour drive away. You will reach Jaipur and check into a pre-booked hotel. This is typically an old building that provides a regal atmosphere for the trip. The remaining day is at leisure to relax, unpack and perhaps take a short walk in the hotel premises or nearby area in the evening.

Day 2: Jaipur Sightseeing

Today is spent exploring Jaipur’s renowned landmarks, which accentuate the city’s architectural charm and regal history. The stunning hill fort of Amber Fort is famous for its innovative Hindu-inspired designs. An elephant ride or jeep safari ascent to the gate of the fort, with a wide view of the surrounding hills is often included in the visit.

City Palace is a large complex within Jaipur’s center that fuses Rajput and Mughal styles. It contains gardens, courtyards, and museums that give an idea of the royal lifestyle.

The iconic five-story façade of Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds features 953 small windows through which royal women can witness street celebrations anonymously.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jantar Mantar is an 18th-century astronomical observatory that demonstrates the scientific acumen by means of a group of architectural instruments.

Jal Mahal is a pleasant palace which seems to float in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, offering a peaceful spot for photographs.

Day 3: Jodhpur Transfer

The blue city offers a nice ride from the pink city. A morning drive to Jodhpur is commonly referred to as the Blue City, due to the blue-painted houses in its old city. The 5 to 6-hour journey reveals Rajasthan’s changing landscapes. Arrive at your hotel in Jodhpur, you can relax in the evening or explore the crowded Sardar Market around the Clock Tower.

Day 4: Jodhpur Sightseeing Tour

Today, you’ll discover the famous tourist spots of Jodhpur. Located atop a hill, Mehrangarh Fort is India’s largest and most breathtaking fort and views of the blue city below. Famous for its beautiful carvings and peaceful garden surroundings, this beautiful white marble cenotaph was built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Umaid Bhawan Palace is a magnificent palace with a life of its own as a museum, a five-star hotel and a royal mansion. One can learn about the royal lineage by exploring the museum. Enjoy a traditional meal while witnessing Mehrangarh Fort’s lighting.

Day 5: Udaipur Transfer

A journey to the peaceful lakes from the desert. A peaceful trip to Udaipur is often referred to as the “City of Lakes” or the “Venice of the East.” With its man-made lakes and stunning palaces, this is one of Rajasthan’s most romantic cities. There are all sorts of landscapes along the way. Upon your arrival, book yourself into your hotel, ideally one that has a view of Lake Pichola. The evening is at leisure either to take a romantic boat ride or to enjoy the peaceful lakeside ambience.

Day 6: Udaipur Sightseeing Tour

Udaipur’s peaceful lakes and majestic palaces unveil its charm. Start by visiting –

City Palace is an architectural marvel that fuses Rajput and Mughal styles. This stunning palace complex overlooks Lake Pichola.

A boat ride through the Pichola Lake offers stunning views of the City Palace, Jag Mandir, and Jag Niwas, especially towards sunset.

Jag Mandir is famous for its stunning architecture and is found on Lake Pichola.

Jagdish Temple is famous for its intricate sculptures. This large Hindu temple in the heart of Udaipur is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Saheliyon ki Bari is a beautiful garden featuring a peaceful refuge with fountains, kiosks, and marble elephants.

Sajjangarh Palace is on a hilltop, providing sweeping views of the city and its lakes.

Day 7: Ajmer Pushkar Transfer

An exploration of rural Rajasthan and a day dedicated to spiritual importance. A scenic ride to Pushkar, a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site famous for its lakes and the Brahma Temple, one of only a few temples dedicated to Lord Brahma. Visit the famous Brahma Temple and Pushkar Lake, surrounded by several ghats. If time permits and there is interest, make a brief visit to Ajmer to visit the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the shrine of Sufi Saint Moinuddin Chishti, one of the largest Muslim pilgrimages. Overnight stay in either Pushkar or Ajmer, depending on the plan.

Day 8: Delhi Departure

Have a relaxed breakfast as your morning activity or last souvenir. Depending on your flight schedule, you can have some spare time for an afternoon stroll or last-minute shopping, if not. It will take around 6 to 7 hours to return to Delhi in a relaxed fashion. You will be dropped at Indira Gandhi International Airport for your next flight after reaching Delhi, carrying with you valuable memories of this tour.
