The Jhalana Leopard Safar Park is India’s first leopard reserve which is located in Jaipur city of Rajasthan state. Surrounded by the Aravalli Hill Ranges, in 2017 the park became a leopard reserve. The valleys have local flora varieties such as Salar (Boswellia serrata), Kumta (Acacia senegal), Dhonk (Anogeissus pendula), and Dhak (Butea monosperma). Fauna in Jhalana Leopard Reserve – The majestic cat – Leopard is the prime animal in Jhalana wildlife. Leopards are at the top of the food chain and also the top predator of the park. The park also has striped hyenas, Indian civets, desert cats, jungle cats, Sambhar deer, desert foxes, jackals, porcupines, spotted deer (chital), Blue Bull (Nilgai), jungle rats, monitor lizards, mongooses, a variety of snakes.

Jhalana Leopard Park was opened for tourists in December 2016. The park is open all month for safari tours. Even in the Monsoon season, the park remains open for tourists which makes it the perfect place to enjoy wildlife even in the rainy season.
Though the park can be enjoyed at any time of the year, it is advisable to visit the park in the winter season. This is because of the hot weather condition of Rajasthan state which becomes favorable for tourism during winter.
